If you are planting anything with a trunk then wind-rock can be a big growth inhibitor and can even kill young trees.   To help them get their feet in the ground staking and tying them for the first year or two is adviseable.

Whether you're using a single stake close to the trunk or multiple stakes at a distance from the trunk this tie is so easy to install, you just cut to length, tension it to where you want it and lock it together - no tying knots and faffing around.

When you revisit the tree a year later and want to tighten it up a bit, you just unlock it and relock it at the new length - much easier than trying to undo last year's knot!
